Before you can use your phone, you need to insert your SIM card correctly. If you are unsure how to do this, the instruction booklet that came with your phone will show you how to do this. This information is usually provided on the first few pages.
Once your SIM card is in place, you need to put the battery into your phone and plug it in to charge. You will need to charge your new phone for several hours before you start using it (please refer to the handset’s instruction booklet).
Advice if you get any of the following error messages displayed on your handset:
Insert SIM – your SIM card has not be inserted correctly into the handset.
Unregistered SIM card – if you have been issued with a new number this message means you number is not yet connected. Please contact Dick Fleming Communications for assistance.
No network – this usually means the phone is connected but you are not picking up a signal.
