Pin protect your phone

All mobile phones can be set up to have pin protection. This means when you power your phone on it will request a 4 digit pin code before you can use the phone preventing unauthorised use. Your pin will be set to a default of 0000. This can be subject to change, so if this does not work please contact us at Dick Fleming Communications.

It is recommended to change your pin code to something more secure. This can be done in the settings option on your phone within security settings. You will need to know the default pin (normally 0000) before changing to your new pin. For full details on this please refer to the handset’s instruction booklet.

Blocked phone

If you have entered your pin code incorrectly three times your phone will block itself. This can easily be unblocked with a code or PUK. Do not try to unblock your phone without this code as any more than10 attempts will result in your SIM card failing and needing to be replaced.
